Who are we?

We are an association of businesses, healthcare providers, membership organizations, and concerned taxpayers committed to fixing New York’s civil justice system to help create jobs and energize the state’s economy.

What do we do?

The Lawsuit Reform Alliance of New York is a nonpartisan not-for-profit grassroots organization dedicated to reducing lawsuit abuse for the benefit of all New Yorkers.

Why is lawsuit reform important?

New Yorkers spend an estimated $6,600 per household on tort liability costs annually. New York’s broken civil justice system is becoming more and more costly to New York’s task payers.

What issues do we focus on?

LRANY focuses on a variety of issues that our members and staff feel are crucial to mending New York’s civil justice system. You can find out what issues we are focusing this legislative session here. If you feel there is an issue we need to be made aware of contact us.
