LRANY Executive Director, Tom Stebbins, available for interview

ALBANY, NY – This past weekend, the Associated Press reported on the cost of the outdated ‘Scaffold Law’.  Entitled Critics Say It’s Time NY Ends 1885 Scaffold Law, the story highlighted our states dire need to make sensible reforms.

This unbalanced law currently holds contractors and property owners 100 percent liable for elevation related construction injuries, regardless of the workers’ negligence.

Tom Stebbins, Executive Director for the Lawsuit Reform Alliance of New York, will be available for interview to discuss the devastating impact of the ‘Scaffold Law’ on our state.
